Subway restaurants now provide menu catering. This very popular restaurant was founded in 1965 by the two geniuses Fred De Luca and Peter Buck. What a lot of people don’t know is that Doctor’s Associated, Inc. owns the trademark known as Subway. There are 28,274 Subway restaurants located in 87 countries. It is their slogan of “Eat Fresh” that makes them a prime choice of customers. And Subway Menu Catering is a favorite choice for even the most eclectic of functions.

In 2005 alone, over 2000 Subway locations were added to an ever growing list. Customers prefer their healthy food choices and they love the calorie counter which is displayed for all to see. The health related aspects of Subway is one of the main things that has made this restaurant a magnet for those watching their weight or just wanting to eat healthier. Subway is the first health conscious restaurant.

Every sandwich is made fresh when the customer orders it and served on freshly baked bread and deli rolls. The customer can adjust how the sandwich is made based on their specific needs. These Subway restaurants are opening in many unusual locations such as military bases and even Wal-marts.Such locations though do not have the Subway menu catering. College campuses are sporting shiny new Subway restaurants as well. So it is not surprising that Subway menu catering has become popular for many parties, office functions, etc. You do have to call your local Subway to find locations that do catering because not all locations have this service.

Subway does  not have menus that can be taken home so you might want to do a little research online first. The sandwich platters can be ordered over the phone provided that you already know how you want the sandwiches made. These wonderful platters feed 10-12 people and include a variety of Subway’s freshly baked breads, with your choice of cold cuts and tons of fresh vegetables. Then, of course, there is the Giant Subway Party Sub which start at 3 feet long! 24 hours advanced notice is required on these before placing your order. Each 3 foot sub feeds 10-12 guests. If you have more guests you can increase each order by another 3 feet. You can also include drinks and snacks with these catered orders.

When you order the Subway menu catering, be sure and specify any kind of special dietary needs such as a strictly low calorie party tray. This will make the catering experience a pleasant one. Always show courtesy to the Subway employees when they deliver and set up the food. Don’t argue with them if something wasn’t ordered correctly. You might even consider writing up a specific list of any special needs before ordering. That way you don’t forget something important. It is always a good idea to order just a little more in case extra guests show up. You can always eat the leftovers later. Enjoy your Subway menu catering experience.
